Tour Itinerary


Day 1 & 2

Depart Canada for Vietnam.


Day 3

Arrive in Saigon where you will be transferred to your hotel. Today you can relax and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 4

The morning is free at leisure.

This afternoon a local guide will meet you in the lobby for your half day city tour. You will visit the Reunification Palace (photo stop), the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Chinatown, the Binh Tay Market and either the Thien Hau Temple or the Quan Am Pagoda. Dinner at local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5

In the morning you will visit the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels where Vietnamese guerrillas built a labyrinth of narrow tunnels as hideouts during the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at Indochine restaurant. The afternoon is free at leisure. Renaissance Riverside Hotel-Saigon. (B,L)

Today you are free to shop and enjoy the city. (B)

Day 7

Pick up and transfer to airport for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival Da Nang, local guide pick up and take a short tour of Da Nang – historic points of interest – Cham Museum (30min) – have lunch in Da Nang at Blue Whale restaurant (with some shopping time) then travel to Hoi An and arrive in the late afternoon (B,L)

Day 8

8:30am-local guide pick up and take a half day walking tour of the village of Hoi An (3.5hours)– visiting ancient merchants houses, a Hokkien temple, 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful riverside market. On own for lunch in the village. Time in the village on their own. Then transfer to visit a workshop where artisans make Hoi An’s famous lanterns. (1hour) Client will make their own lantern. Dinner at Sakura Restaurant. (B,D) Hotel Royal-Hoi An.


Day 9

Day 10

Depart for the ancient capital of Hue with a coastal drive via the Cloudy Pass and the photogenic village of Lang Co. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Lunch at Phuoc Thanh Restaurant. (B,L)

Day 11

Drive to the outskirts of Hue to visit the elaborate tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Stop en-route to see incense being made. Visit to Khai Dinh Tomb. Back to hotel.

1:00pm-: local guide picks up and transfer to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market.

Day 12

Transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, take a one-hour cyclo tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter allows you to catch a glimpse of ancient Hanoi and learn about traditional Vietnamese architecture. Dinner at Ly Club Restaurant

Day 13

Transfer to visit the Ho Chi Minh’s former home, the One Pillar Pagoda (30min) and the Temple of Literature.(45min) Lunch at Press Club Restaurant. The afternoon is free at leisure. (B,L)

Day 14

Drive through rice paddy fields to Ha Long Bay. You will board a junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy a lunch and a swim (if weather permits). Drop anchor in the late evening for an overnight stay among the dramatic limestone peaks rising out of the sea. (B,L,D)

Day 15

Spend the morning cruising through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay before returning to the wharf. Return to Hanoi. (B, L)

Day 16

Meet at the airport and fly to Luang Prabang and then transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon drive to town for a brief city tour to the Former Royal Palace (now the National Museum), Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Sen, Wat Visun. End the day enjoying the sunset from the top of Mount Phou Si. Dinner at hotel. (B,D)

Day 17

Take a full-day boat trip on the mighty Mekong River to explore local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan. Continue with the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, which once belonged to the royal family and nearby Sackarine Caves and continue cruising Pak Ou cave. Explore caves and cross Mekong River at Ban Ou for lunch at a local restaurant. Return by road to Luang Prabang, stopping en route at Ban Xang Hai, where the residents create a unique rice wine called lao lao and continue to typical Lao villages at Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek, well known for its hand-made Jute Sar paper. Lunch at Manivanh restaurant. (B,L)

Day 18

Transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Evening, enjoy Dinner at Por cuisine with Khmer Traditional Apsara Dance Show. (B,D)

Day 19

After your exploration of the ancient city by entering Angkor Thom via the Southern Gate, proceed to visit the ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terraces and the Leper King Terrace. See the impressive Ta Prohm Temple which is mystically enveloped by jungle. In the afternoon, you will visit magnificent Angkor Wat with its extraordinary architecture and you may have a chance to experience spectacular sunset over the monuments. Lunch at Bopha Ta Prohm restaurant. (B,L)

Day 20

After breakfast, you will visit the graceful 11th century Temple of Shiva – Banteay Srei – and the Banteay Samre temple. In the afternoon, you will visit the Silk Farm at Pouk. Transfer to airport for flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival pick up and transfer to hotel. Lunch at Viroth’s Restaurant. (B,L)

Day 21

After breakfast take a full day city tour including the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda containing the Emerald Buddha statue, the Royal Palace and Phnom Penh’s oldest shrine, Wat Phnom. Afternoon visit Toul Sleng museum and Killing Fields. Dinner at La Rose restaurant.. (B,D)
