Day 1 – Depart from Canada 

Depart from Ottawa with your Travac Tours Director to Montreal airport by private motor coach. Your flight with Air Transat from Montreal to Lisbon. Our office staff will be happy to give you more flight details.

Day 2 – Arrival Portugal 

Upon arrival, you will be transferred by private motorcoach to the Algarve in Portugal. Your Travac Tours Director will assist you with hotel check-in.

Days 2 to 13 – Algarve, Portugal 

With many of the countries safest and most beautiful beaches, it is not surprising that the Algarve is Portugal’s most popular tourist destination. The 200km coastline of the Algarve features all types of coves, cliffs, caves, and its rocky beaches contrasts beautifully with broad expanses of sand. Take in some of the local cuisine such as chicken piri-piri, cataplana, fish stew, olives, almonds, and of course the many tasty desserts.

Details and costs of optional tours ($) will be presented to you on your second day in Portugal. All monies for these optional tours must be paid in cash (Euros) and are fully non-refundable once paid.

Hotel: Turim Presidente 

Day 13 – Transfer from Portugal to Spain 

Today your Travac Tours Director will assist you with a check out. They will travel with you on your private motorcoach from Portugal to Spain. Driving time is approximately 6 hours (with a washroom and a lunch stop enroute). Once you arrive at the hotel in Spain, your Travac Tours Director will assist with hotel check in.

Days 13 to 23 – Costa del Sol – February 27 – March 09

On the beachfront and facing the Benalmádena promenade, the Best Tritón is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, tanning and enjoying the Mediterranean breeze. Completely renovated, the four-star hotel in Benalmádena will have an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), a buffet restaurant, a pool bar, an extensive daytime and evening entertainment programme, 24-hour reception, luggage storage and parking.

Your Travac Tours Director will assist you with optional tours and activities ($) during your stay. The optional tours are paid locally in Euros and once paid are non-refundable. A listing of these tours along with costs are only available locally once in Spain.

The towns of Torremolinos, Málaga, Fuengirola, Mijas and Marbella are all close by and can be easily reached by public transportation. You will also have the opportunity to visit some of the cities in the region including Seville, Granada and the jewel of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar ($). Shopping opportunities are extensive. There are also local markets in each village that operate on different days of the week.

Day 23 – Return to Canada 

Today you will be transferred to Malaga airport via private coach for your direct flight with Air Transat from Malaga to Montreal. You will meet up with your Travac Tours Director at the baggage claim and he/she will transfer with you via private motor coach back to Ottawa. Our office staff will be happy to give you more flight details.

The Sunset Beach Club is a beachfront property located in the popular holiday destination of Benalmadena in the Costa del Sol. Accommodations consist of one bedroom hotel apartments or studios, all with their own balcony/terrace and small kitchen, making it an ideal choice for a delightful vacation. The towns of Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Málaga, Fuengirola, Mijas and Marbella are all close by and can be easily reached by public transportation. You will also have the opportunity to visit some of the cities in the region including Seville, Malaga, Granada and the jewel of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar should you choose. There are also local markets in each village that operate on different days of the week. For independent travelers, car rentals can easily be arranged at the hotel for a charge. Your Travac Tours Director will assist you with optional tours ($) and activities throughout your stay. Details and costs of these tours will be presented to you on your second day in Spain.
