Savannah, Charleston & Ashville Bus Tour

Travac’s easy paced adventure to the southern coastal capitals of Savannah and Charleston goes far beyond these two great cities. You’ll start with a ride along the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway and a visit to Ashville and the Biltmore Estate.  This chateauesque styled mansion was built by George Vanderbilt and is the largest privately owned home in the United States. It remains a prominent example of the gilded age has 250 rooms to delight to those who visit it.

From Ashville you will make the short journey to the colonial city of Savannah.  Savannah’s Victorian historic district and its 22 park-like squares is one of the largest  designated National Historic Districts in the U.S. It’s beauty is found by walking and shopping along it’s quaint streets and pathways.

Similar in many ways, Charleston has a flavour that is distinctively colonial.  Charleston is often called the “Holy City” due to the number of steeples that dot the low rise skyline.

To top off your vacation you will have a chance to rest and relax in South Carolina’s  playground, Myrtle Beach.
