Quebec Winter Carnival

The Quebec Winter Carnival is one of North America’s premier winter festivals, and the largest of its type in the world. Streets in old Quebec come alive as winter becomes vibrantly showcased through a wide variety of popular activities and entertainment venues.  Take in the magical events, snow sculptures, night parades, skating, and shows while enjoying all the beauty of historical Quebec.

Your home for this festival is the Clarendon Hotel which is in the heart of the historic and cultural centre of old Quebec. You’ll be steps away from just about everything that defines this incredible festival and makes this party one of the grandest of the year.  Join us as we travel to old Quebec on February 4th and be part of the unforgettable celebration!

Tour Itinerary


Day 1

This morning we will depart Ottawa for Quebec City by deluxe chartered motor coach. Upon your arrival in Quebec City, you will have time to acquaint yourself with your surroundings before checking into your hotel, the Hotel Clarendon. Your hotel is in the centre of Old Quebec and is close to many of the activities of the carnival. Your tour director will go over some of the activities available to you during your stay. The balance of your day will be free.

Day 2

After your included breakfast, you will have a free day to explore old Quebec and savour many of the events that make this carnival so special. Later this afternoon you will be transported to a “Sugar Shack” for a traditional Quebecoise dinner. Your tour director will advise you of the departure time from the Hotel. Upon your return to the city, the balance of your evening will be free. (B, D)

Day 3

Your breakfast is included again this morning. You will then have a few hours for last minute shopping before returning to Ottawa. Our scheduled departure time for Ottawa is at 1:00 PM. (B)
