This show features full scale landscape and garden designs by some of the most prominent landscape designers in the U.S. It is the largest indoor flower show in the world and is a horticulturalist’s dream.
To compliment your visit to the Philadelphia Flower Show you will visit Longwood Gardens. Longwood Gardens is nestled in the heart of the Brandywine Valley. It features dazzling displays that truly elevate the art of horticulture. Featured in March is the “Orchid Extravaganza”.

Founded by Henry Francis du Pont, Winterthur (pronounced “winter-tour”) is the premier museum of American decorative arts, reflecting both early America and the du Pont family’s life here. Your journey to Philadelphia will begin early in the morning. Your drive will take you through New York and Pennsylvania to Philadelphia. Expect to arrive at your downtown hotel in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, (included) you will be transferred to the Philadelphia Flower Show. Professional landscapers, florists, horticultural and educational organizations create full scale gardens each year at the show. Exhibitors undertake the art of forcing trees, shrubs and perennials into bloom for the show using temperature and lighting controls to “fool” plants into full bloom for this March event. Choose from an array of informative seminars or simply ask experts your own pertinent questions. Transfers will be available back to the hotel throughout the day. This afternoon you will be treated to a visit to Winterthur.
