Hotel Ratings
Please note that every country employs independent regulations for their hotel rating systems. The rating of each hotel is based on each country’s independent criteria, and are not rated by Travac Tours.
Star ratings are not based on your room or meals. Ratings, as per industry standards, are based on the amenities the hotel offers.
Canadian standards are higher than those of many other countries. For example, where a hotel rates a 4* at European standards, it could be considered a 3* by Canadian standards.

Travac’s Private Motorcoach Guidelines
Travac Tours prides itself on maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all our clients, the motorcoach driver, the Travac Tours Director and our local step-on guides.
Our guidelines are for our private coaches only and include:
- 100% Scent Free Motorcoach (NO exceptions). Your Tour Director will advise you if there are other allergens
- Daily self-seat rotation (the front seat can only be taken once throughout the tour – no exceptions)
- Punctuality
- Safe and respectful behavior
- Attention to local guide and Tour Director commentary
- Consideration of fellow travelers (seat reclining, parcel management)
- For safety reasons, no standing in the aisle when coach is moving, no items in aisle at any time
- If you experience cold or flu-like symptoms, please be considerate of others and wear a mask while on our private coaches
- Consumption of alcohol onboard a motor coach is illegal
Travac Tours reserves the right to remove any clients from a tour if these guidelines are not followed. Refunds or future credits will not be issued for failure to comply with our guidelines. We appreciate and expect your cooperation.
