Tour Itinerary
Day 1
This morning we will depart Ottawa and make our way to Magog. Upon our arrival you will have some free time to enjoy the city and have lunch on your own ($). The afternoon will feature a cocktail cruise on Lake Memphremagog. After the cruise we will check in at your hotel, OTL Gouverneur Sherbrooke. The balance of your day will be free.
Day 2
You will begin your day in Sherbrooke where you will enjoy a guided to of the town and its famous murals. Afterwards, you will have some free time to discover the town and have lunch on your own at one of Sherbrooke’s excellent restaurants. Your first stop in the afternoon will be at Domain Ives Hill for a tour and tasting of their black current products. From there you will visit La Station Fromagerie to enjoy their organically produced cheese. Your evening will be free to enjoy the facilities at your hotel. (B)
Day 3
After breakfast you will depart for Bleu Lavande, a lavender farm with a deep history that is sure to please. Following the lavender farm, we will visit the Saint- Benoit du Lac Abbey famous for its cheeses and apple cider. A lunch stop will be made enroute with some free time for you to enjoy the quaint townships ($). Subsequently we will continue onward to Ottawa, the expect to arrival will be in the early evening. Tipping is included for luggage handling at the hotel. Most bus tours often recommend that each person tip their Travac Tour Director $5 per person per day, the coach driver $3 per person per day and the local guide $2 per person per tour. While we at Travac do not stress a tipping policy, any gratuities provided are greatly appreciated.
